Nant Hafod is situated in a quiet cul de sac and is easily located from the A496. It is in an elevated location, giving a splendid panoramic view of Tremadog Bay with the Rhinog mountains providing a scenic backdrop to the east. The sunsets here can be awesome! A walk along the hillside will bring you to Dinas Oleu, (fortress of light) the first beauty spot or property ever owned by the National Trust
The conservatory at Nant Hafod
This is a fully-furnished bungalow on the spectacular Cambrian Coastline. It offers a very comfortable and convenient base for touring the Snowdonia National Park. An ideal location for Walking alongside the spectacular Mawddach, Hill-Walking on Cader Idris, Cwm Bychan, Roman Steps and Cwm Nantcol or Pony-trekking at Arthog or Sailing at Pensarn and other outdoor activities in the locality.
The lounge at Nant Hafod
Less than 5 minutes’ drive to: Barmouth town centre with usual amenities including Railway Station and leisure centre, banks, supermarkets, restaurants, public houses (serving food). The picturesque harbour is the starting point of the Three Peaks Yacht Race. Barmouth Beach (Blue Flag Award Beach) is set in a superb location, at the mouth of the River Mawddach, in an area of outstanding natural beauty.
The garden from the conservatory
All towels and bedlinen are provided and beds prepared. The lounge is provided with colour TV, DVD player, Radio and CD. It opens via sliding door to a spacious conservatory (with superb sea view) with patio doors to garden. Gas fired central heating throughout. Kitchen appointed with electric oven & grill, hob, fridge/freezer, microwave oven and dishwasher. Utility room provided with washing machine and iron.
The double bedroom at Nant Hafod
Bedroom 1: Double bed. Bedroom 2: Two single beds. Bathroom: bath with shower over, WC, and basin. Outside: Large patio at rear with bench & picnic table. Steps down to garden. Off-road parking space at side of bungalow. Please note that we regret that no pets are permitted, also that guests are requested to refrain from smoking in the bungalow (for other guests’ comfort).
